This eService facilitates the Ships (Ship Captain/ Ship Owner/ Shipping Agent) to send Advance Notification Forms/ Waste Disposal Request and Ballast water reports before entering to any Sri Lankan port.
Ships can submit the Advance Notification independently or together with the Waste Disposal Request (WDR). Also the user can submit a WDR independently after entering to the territorial waters of Sri Lanka. Further all the ships entering to Sri Lankan ports shall inform MEPA of their ballast water hold.
All vessels entering Sri Lanka ports must notify The Marine Environment Protection Authority, at least 24hrs in advance of their arrival, of the amounts of waste they are carrying and intend to discharge in the Port. This should be done by completing The Marine Environment Protection Authority Advance Notification Form for Waste delivery to port reception facility submitting it to via online system.
Advance notification from for waste can be obtained by logging onto bellow link and filling in the online. A form must be completed every time a vessel visits Sri Lankan ports unless the vessel is covered by an exemption from the MEPA. A form can be downloaded logging into bellow link and by clicking on the below link and filling in the online for the Marine Environment Protection Authority.
Ships (or agents acting on their behalf) must send to the MEPA up to 24 hours in advance of arrival on the amount of waste they intend to land by logging onto bellow link and filling in the online waste disposal request form for the Marine Environment Protection Authority of Sri Lanka.
Ballast Water Reporting Form is intended to be used by the Ship users on the arrival of the ships at any port in Sri Lanka. Ships (or agents acting on their behalf) must send duly fill Ballast water Reporting Form by logging onto below link and filling in the online Ballast water Reporting Form for the Marine Environment Protection Authority.
